Ochsenfurt’s manners experience their sixth happy ending?

ochsenfurt's manners experience their sixth happy ending?

No, the current situation for the handball players of TV ochsenfurt is certainly not new. With two games to go, they are deep in the relegation battle in the district’s top division, as they have been for the five years since they were promoted back to the top flight in 2007. "Otherwise the fourth last place has always sufficed. This time it will be difficult, considering our remaining program and that of the others," says tobias schulling, one of ochsenfurt’s survivalists.

The 39-year-old teacher, who supervises the team together with marco schuler and still plays a part on the parquet, knows how difficult the task is. This time in giebelstadt and then at home against the reserve of DJK rimpar, which is already the champion, TV ochsenfurt will have to play. Three teams have already been relegated: TSV mellrichstadt, TV etwashausen and SG kitzingen/mainbernheim. In addition it will catch one of the quartet MHV schweinfurt, DJK waldbuttelbrunn II, HSG volkach or TV ochsenfurt.

It is possible that the direct comparison between opponents will be used again, as it has been the case more often in the past. Ochsenfurt had been ahead of lohr II in 2012 and also of TV dettelbach the year before. This year the TVO was better than waldbuttelbrunn II, but against schweinfurt in the disadvantage.

1. place in 'landfrauen machen schule' for ebersdorf elementary school students

After a particularly exciting day, the students of the 2b class of the ebersdorf elementary school got creative: on a farm in neuses an den eichen, they participated in the kick-off of the bavarian-wide campaign "landfrauen machen schule" ("countrywomen go to school") they experienced firsthand where food comes from and then put their impressions on paper in a rough, colorful collage. The elementary school students put a lot of photos, figures and even grains of grain on the poster – and the result is something to behold. The bavarian state association of countrywomen agreed and rewarded the 2b students for their extraordinary commitment. The elementary school students take the 1st place with their collage. The winners of the bavaria-wide competition for the landwomen’s campaign received a mug and a cd on which modern agriculture is explained in a playful manner.

Heidi bauersachs, the district farmer of the coburg countrywomen, is also proud of the achievements of the ebersdorf elementary school students. "You can really see the connection to the farm and how eventful the day was for the children", praised them at the award ceremony. The start of the bavaria-wide campaign was certainly exciting. "Finally, the event was filmed for television and the children were able to meet the bavarian milk queen", she said.

Not the first 1. Prize

Gabriele meisner, head of the 2b class, did a great job of visualizing all these impressions with the children afterwards. "She worked through the day with them very well and immortalized their thoughts on the poster.", said heidi bauersachs. It was not the first time that the 1. The first prize in the poster competition goes to a school in the coburg district. "The coburg schoolchildren are always very hardworking and eager to do their work", she emphasized. The aim of the action is to bring the children closer to today’s production conditions in agriculture. "The schoolchildren should take away a lasting impression of modern agriculture", she explained. Under a good star: 40 years of the bookstore

under a good star: 40 years of the bookstore

Books have always fascinated marita trini. So it was no question for them to spontaneously take over the management of the obervolkach parish library at that time. In the meantime, she and a large team have been taking care of the bookshop for almost 20 years.

"Because alone it is no longer possible. After all, we have to sort, catalog and keep coming up with new ideas."The fact that marita trini had already activated a library in her former home country is now of great benefit to all involved.

The motto of the youngest action week "treffpunkt bibliothek" hits the mark, thinks trini. "The library keeps the horizon open". Because in a bookstore everyone can discover the globe anew. And so she is very pleased that the 40th anniversary of her birth is now upon us. Birthday can be celebrated.

Glad to hand in your cell phone

Glad to hand in your cell phone

For twelve years they were active as military pastors in hammelburg, wildflecken and volkach. Why did you decide to take this job??
Thomas linder: i was attracted by the work with experienced people who do not belong to the classic clientele of churchgoers. Besides, the tasks here are very exciting and varied.

Which for example?
For example, the life-skills lessons that I teach. That is obligatory for all soldiers. Ethical topics are dealt with, such as dealing with death and dying. In addition, there is a local church service once a month. In addition, there are services for swearing-in ceremonies or anniversaries. Another part are the rust times. These are events lasting several days for soldiers and sometimes also their families. They have a specific ethical theme, similar to life lessons. There are also seminars and excursions. Last but not least, i am responsible as a pastor for the various needs of the soldiers.

With what problems do the soldiers turn to you??
When you have life problems in general, such as stress with your girlfriend or your superior. They also approached me in the case of transfers or subsequent conscientious objection to military service. Likewise, after foreign assignments and stressful impressions they can’t come to terms with.
